the streets of Bangkok - Wat Arun and Khaosan Road

 bangkok

In every weekend I could took time to walk around in some places into tourist destination of foreign tourists and local residents in Bangkok Thailand . Lucky to have a friend who had already been living in Bangkok , so just went along the road where their invites . No need to fuss and looking confused and worried one way street .
Bangkok around town , let alone hang out with some people , it's cheaper to take a taxi . Before you take a taxi , we should mention the purpose and do not forget to make sure the driver use the meter ( ranging from 35 baht ) . Sometimes shoot the driver did not want to use the meter price . Intercepted the taxi way , do that again next ngetem mall or hotel .

Are popular and seem to be attempted when to Thailand is the tuk- tuk ride . Tuk - tuk ride can be more expensive than the taxi ride , we had to negotiate before boarding . Bangkok is also a lot of motorcycle taxi drivers , they can easily be marked with pink or orange vest on. Using the average motorcycle matic . Sometimes when alone and where ga so far and jammed conditions again , I choose to ride motorcycles . Abang motorcycle taxi in Bangkok , just wrote brutal as in Jakarta . Nyelap - weaving in between cars , bulldoze sidewalks and sometimes against the flow of vehicles . And we rarely given a helmet .

The first time invited to visit Wat Arun ( temple of dawn ) , there was afternoon . Its location on the banks of the Chao Phraya river . Ride the BTS to Saphan Taksin station . From there a boat ride along the Chao Phraya river , pay 15 baht . The fall in the Tha Tien pier . Because there temple across the river , had to take a small boat to cross again , about 5 minutes , pay 3 baht . This temple is so striking and become landmarks along the Chao Phraya river . Entering the temple must pay 50 baht , and for female visitors are required to dress more decently and not shorts . Colorful walls of this temple was derived from ceramic broken and taped and form a motif of flowers and other decorations . We can rise to the top , but the angle was too steep kemingirannya . Also a bit scary when going down , had to hold on to keep from falling .

Cross back from Wat Arun , then walk to Khaosan that turned pretty far too . It seemed almost an hour on foot . My friend was thinking this stray lest too .. hahaha .. Thailand 's thrilling encounter an event on the banks of the Chao Phraya River with views of the Rama VIII Bridge behind him .

Khaosan Road is the headquarters of the backpacker or budget traveler alias economical walkers in Bangkok . In this area are many cheap accommodation scattered around 400-1000 Baht or 120ribu up 350ribu in Rupiah . Not only is it that makes this place interesting , here is very much a cozy café with its live music , perfect for hanging out late into the night . Increasingly crowded and congested because along the way too full of street vendors . Of fruit sellers to souvenir judi bola and others . Do not miss the Thai massage places competing to attract customers .
